How to File a Takedown Notice
For us to act on a notice, the law requires it to include all of the following. Missing items will delay processing — we cannot remove material based on incomplete notices:
- Identification of the copyrighted work. Describe the work claimed to be infringed (title, registration number if any, and a representative sample where possible).
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material. Provide the specific URL(s) or other location identifiers on our service so we can find and address it.
- Your contact information. Full legal name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement. A written statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy & authority statement. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Signature. A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorised representative.
Trademark Notices
We also accept and act on trademark complaints. If you believe a trademark you own is being used on our service in a way that creates consumer confusion, implies endorsement, or otherwise infringes your rights, send a notice to our designated agent including: a description of the mark, registration details, the URL(s) where the alleged misuse appears, and the same authority & accuracy statements outlined above. We treat trademark complaints with the same 24-hour response standard.
Counter-Notification
If material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Send it to the same designated agent with all of the following:
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email.
- Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district (or, if outside the US, of the location of our designated agent).
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In line with DMCA § 512(i)(1)(A), we maintain and enforce a policy of terminating the access of users, partners, and resellers who are determined, in appropriate circumstances, to be repeat infringers. Termination decisions are reviewed by our compliance team and are not subject to refund.
False Claims Warning
Under DMCA § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees, incurred by the alleged infringer or by the service provider. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for fraudulent or bad-faith notices. We recommend that all senders consult legal counsel before filing if there is any doubt about the merits of a claim.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, our internal procedures, or our designated agent details. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through our website.
For non-copyright support enquiries, please use our contact page or message support directly. For copyright matters, the email address above is the only address that guarantees the 24-hour response time.
