Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the LG Content Store
Hit Home on the Magic Remote. The launcher bar appears at the bottom. Scroll right to LG Content Store (shopping bag icon).
Install IPTV Smarters (or SS IPTV)
In the search bar, type 'IPTV Smarters'. If it shows up, install it. If not, search 'SS IPTV' or 'Smart IPTV' — both have been on the LG Content Store for years and they are the best IPTV app LG users keep going back to.
Open the app, pick your login method
Launch the app from the launcher bar. If you got IPTV Smarters, choose Xtream Codes API and paste the server URL, username and password from our message. If you got SS IPTV or Smart IPTV, the app shows you a MAC address or activation code — write it down.

Hit the Settings cog, Picture, Picture Mode, and pick Cinema or Filmmaker Mode. This kills LG's overcooked default colour and gives you proper match-ready pictures. Worth doing once.

How to Optimize for Zero Buffering

- Increase Buffer Size
If your streaming app allows it (Settings > General > Buffer Size), change it from "Small/Normal" to "Large" or "5 Seconds". This prevents micro-stutters during live matches by pre-loading more of the video data.
- Use Hardware Decoding (HW+)
Always ensure the video player settings are set to Hardware (HW) Decoder rather than Software (SW). This offloads the heavy video rendering directly to the device's graphics chip for crystal clear 4K.
